Be an informed voter! The first presidential debate will be hosted at Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY. Lester Holt, NBC News, is the scheduled moderator.
This debate will consist of six 15-minute segments.
The topics were selected by the moderator. The chosen topics are: America's Direction, Achieving Prosperity, and Securing America.

The first vice presidential debate will be held at Longwood University, Farmville, VA.
This debate will be divided into nine 10-minute segments.

|Second Presidential Debate.
The second presidential debate will be hosted by Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
Moderators scheduled are: Martha Raddatz, ABC, and Anderson Cooper, CNN.
The debate will be a town hall meeting, where half of the questions will come from participants (uncommitted voters selected by the Gallup Organization) and the other half from the moderators. The moderator's questions will be based on public interest topics determined by social media and other sources.

The third presidential debate will be hosted by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
This debate will consist of six 15-minute segments selected by the moderator, Chris Wallace, Fox News.
The topics selected are: Debt and entitlements, immigration, the economy, the Supreme Court, foreign hot spots and fitness to be president.

We will be registering new citizens to vote! It is an honor and a privilege to offer voter registration to our naturalized citizens.
The League of Women Voters Memphis/Shelby County is the only organization sanctioned to register voters at the federal building with the Election Commission.

||Hendersonville, TN||LWVTN Convention.
The LWVTN Convention will be hosted by the LWV of Hendersonville, celebrating their 50th anniversary. The state board meeting will be on Saturday morning, 9am, and the convention will officially be called to order at 1pm. There will be workshops on redistricting, voter service centers, and more.

Attendee will need to be a registered Shelby County voter. On completion of the training, the attendee may take an oath and become an unpaid deputy of the SCEC.
