Tennessee Voter Registration

To be eligible to vote in Tennessee, you must be a citizen of the United States. You must be (18) years of age or older on or before the date of the next election.

You must be a resident of Tennessee and the precinct in which you register.

You must not have been convicted of a felony, or if you have, your voting rights must have been restored by a judge.

You must have a photo ID issued by a valid agency.

In order to participate in an election, a qualified voter must be properly registered no later than thirty (30) days before the election.

You must be registered to vote at least 30 days prior to an election and must be 18 years of age by election day.

What ID do I need to vote?

Accepted photo ID includes any ID issued by a state or the US government.
